Rozanna Mediterranean Restaurant has two owners, Ilham Abdulnour Bitar and Zeina Bittar, who are both from Syria.

These two restaurant owners have one of the most interesting stories.

Both love cooking and entertaining guests, so they split their duties to make managing a restaurant easier.  You can see the high respect that each illustrates towards the other.

Their friendship and partnership have an exciting story behind them.  Both are from Syria but did not know each other before arriving in the U.S. Both married doctors with the same last name and ended up living in St. Louis.  They became friends and now co-own this restaurant together.

It is a cozy restaurant, which makes it easy to enjoy a casual evening with friends and families enjoying the Mediterranean hospitality and the traditional flavors of Middle Eastern cuisine with a variety of delicious dishes from a large selection of hot and cold Meza to seafood combined with a pristine Arabian setting.

The Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisines include Syrian and Lebanese dishes like:

Her most recent accomplishment is opening an event drive location at the CITIPARK, the new soccer/event stadium in downtown St. Louis, MO.  The DD Mau location is in Section 101.

In addition to the three locations, they do a large amount of catering for major events and some of the most respected companies in the St. Louis region.

When we met with her for the interview, we saw a calm and organized restaurateur that is comfortable with the businesses she had created and did not appear overwhelmed or worried about anything illustrating a high level of confidence in her vision.

Additionally, the health inspection scores for Maryland Heights range from 97% to 99%, and the Webster Groves range from 95% to 100%.  This is as impressive as the online reviews and further illustrates the skill, passion, and dedication of this restaurateur and her team.

Both locations offer online ordering and delivery from specific third-party platforms, from its Toast Platform, as well as DoorDash, GrubHub, Uber, and ezCater.

Currently, she is content with her three locations.  Still, this ambitious young lady is most likely not done building her restaurant empire that has been created and grown to three highly successful locations at a fast and crazy pace during some very challenging times.  So we don't think she is done, nor do we think she should be done.

She is related to other successful restaurants owned by family members, including Rice House, which has two locations, and Pearl Cafe, which has one location, and two food trucks in Florissant, Missouri.

Rice House is owned by Julie's brother, Kenny Truong, and Pearl Cafe is owned by her cousin, Scott Truong.

However, it all started with Julie and Kenny's parents, who owned Vinh Chop Suey in St. Louis.

More interestingly, he was born in Gros-Morne, Martinique, but grew up in Haiti, migrating to the U.S. approximately ten years ago.  He is a U.S. Citizen and living the American dream of owning his own business.

We typically write and promote restaurants that have served their time making customers happy, with a significant amount of reviews across multiple platforms.  Still, this restaurant and the owner attracted our attention, and the menu is unique enough that we feel that consumers need to know about this location.

Siline's Restaurant and Bar opened in January 2023, so there are not a lot of online reviews to promote, except their Google Rating is 4.9 Stars with 39 online reviews.  Up to this point, their digital presence has been low, but that is in the process of being fixed with a new website that is being launched at https://SilinesRestaurant.net.  Additionally, they are launching their Yelp page and many other online directory listings to reach more prospective customers.

Nonetheless, a Google Rating of 4.9 Stars with 39 online reviews is nothing to ignore, so we are publishing this review.  It is more than a great start and illustrates a high level of ownership pride.

We visited the establishment on Monday, April 18, 2023.  Our visit was not planned or announced, but we found the place clean, organized, and stylish.  The staff is friendly and appreciates their customers.

They are conveniently located in a strip center across the street from the Honda dealership with significant parking.

It has a spacious bar area with 17 seats for customers to relax and watch the latest news or sports.

The menu is small, but everything is made using the best ingredients with the outcome of a 4.9 Star Google Rating.  They will release a newly expanded menu in May 2023.

Pierre's plans and dreams are to turn this concept into a chain or franchise, knowing that to accomplish his goals, there will be a significant amount of work and risk to overcome.  However, having played college football, he is well-equipped to manage the mental discipline to overcome difficult times.

They offer a Siline's Membership and Siline's VIP Membership to help offer discounts for dedicated and loyal customers.  For a monthly subscription fee, you can get free meals and deep discounts for friends.

We ate lunch there on April 13, 2023, and were impressed with everything from the decor, food, service, and cleanliness.  I ate the Mixed Grill, which comes with Chicken kabab, beef kabab, and grilled jumbo shrimp and is served with basmati rice.  The meats had distinct Mediterranean flavors from the spices, which made me question why this restaurant is rated only 4.5 Stars on Google.

The owner is Wesam Hamed, who is 46 years old, and grew up in Jerusalem.  He has cooked his entire life and appreciates the opportunity to feed customers while providing for his family.  He has been in the U.S. since 2001.

The average employee has worked for the restaurant for 6-7 years.  While it is not a family business, he says it is a family business because he views his staff as family.  A unique and refreshing perspective in today’s world.

They have a new menu that will be announced in the next few weeks.  In addition, they are adding more pictures and new Mediterranean dishes to expand their menu.
